Iltutmish's tomb
This is a bit tucked away in one corner, somewhat to the north west of the iron pillar. Iltutmish died in 1236, but had his tomb built a year earlier. This structure does not have a dome anymore, and apart from its archways, has a failry plain exterior. The interior, however, displays some intricte carving. Both geomertic and traditional Hindus desgins such as wheels, lotus flowers and diamonds were used.
